About Us
Crowned to Grow is a space where Black and Brown girls ages 12–17 are seen, heard, and poured into. Through hands-on experiences, nurturing mentorship, and affirming sisterhood, we guide each girl as she embraces her light, explores her voice, and steps into her power.
Rooted in care and community, our 8-week program blends self-discovery, creativity, and cultural pride with real-world tools and joy-filled connection. From workshops and school visits to meaningful outings and monthly family moments, everything we do is grounded in the belief that every girl deserves to glow boldly, grow deeply, and reign fearlessly.
This is more than a program. It’s a movement, a collective rise, and a soft but powerful space for girls to bloom—crowned, confident, and whole.
Our Mission
Crowned to Grow empowers Black and Brown girls, ages 13–17, through intentional mentorship, affirming sisterhood, and transformative experiences. We nurture self-worth, cultural identity, emotional wellness, and leadership through guided reflection, creative expression, and real-world connection — equipping each girl to rise with purpose and power.
Our Vision
Crowned to Grow envisions a world where every Black and Brown girl recognizes her inherent power, beauty, and brilliance. We aim to create a transformative space that honors cultural identity, nurtures emotional well-being, and builds leadership from the inside out. Through affirming mentorship and intentional programming, we strive to cultivate young queens who are deeply rooted in self-love, equipped with the tools to navigate life confidently, and committed to uplifting their communities. We believe that when girls are seen, supported, and celebrated, they become unstoppable forces of change — glowing boldly, growing strongly, and reigning fearlessly for generations to come.
